1 kilo ripe guavas
½ kilo sugar
½ cup calamansi juice

Wash the guavas. Cut into pieces and boil in water.

After boiling for 5 minutes, mash and strain to separate the pulpfrom juice. Add sugar and calamansi juice to the guava juice. Boil till the consistency becomes a thick syrup. Pour while hot into heat constant bottles.

Other fruits that can be used: kamias, pineapple, balimbing
